Greenery and purplery

I do hope that everyone is enjoying the courgettes and beans as they come on!

We've also got brambles in the hedge and on a few plot boundaries. As I type, I've got a batch of the beautiful berries simmering on the hob with a couple of sliced apples, some nutmeg and sugar. Custard? Crumble? Crumble with custard? Fruit tarts? With lashings of custard? I'll think of something :)
